Frequently asked

We want to get married in Glacier National Park but want to be respectful of the culture and locals.

Nicole and her team are Blackfeet and locals to the area who live in and near East Glacier Park year round where they operate their businesses. They are informative and mindful of their homeland that requires more than just Glacier National Park reservations or permits while practicing LNT.

We want to elope in Glacier but not sure when

Glacier and Northwest Montana in general has the most unpredictable weather. So unpredictable that it is guranteed to be either raining, snowing, windy or be smokey.

August is considered to be the most normal month with the warmest of temperatures. Be prepared for your trip by bringing warm clothes and rain protection. Be mindful of the weather when choosing a date. Foliage may or may not be present during certain months.

We are getting married outside of GNP but want wedding pictures inside GNP

You can still get wedding pictures inside GNP without a vehicle reservation if you book through Nicole.

Can we get wedding pictures without obtaining a GNP wedding permit?

You are allowed to take ‘wedding’ photos as long as you are not exchanging vows. If you choose to book Nicole for wedding photos after your wedding you will not need a vehicle Reservation, pass or permit just for the photos.

Why hire a local photographer or vendors or an all Native American team?

Hiring a local photographer and vendors gives you assurance your team is already in the area. They live and work in Glacier year round so are are helping the local economy. Glacier National Park is Blackfeet Land. Some clients prefer to pay thier respect to the land and locals by hiring the native ameircan locals. Locals know the history of the Native American Tribes in the area and how Glacier National Park came to be. If your choosen destination is affected by weather a local knows a back up area or an area you would not be able to access if you were not with them. You are truly getting an authentic experience by hiring native and local.

We want more adventurous photos than just light hiking in common areas?

Adventuring Glacier’s alpine terrain is Nicole’s specialty. She knows the ins and outs and access to summits and areas in the Park that over 90% of vistors will never see in their lifetimes. If you’re an extreme adventurist and vision your special day or photos taking place atop a remote summit in the rugged backcountry of GNP then Nicole is the guide/photographer for you.
